..I am painting only when I feel a real joy in something that I want to paint...a thoughtless emotional joy and THEN, I DO NOT INTERFERE WITH WHATEVER HAPPENS IN THE PAINTING...that is, I try to keep my sophisticated 'knowledge' at bay..I allow 'mistakes' to stand as possibly having been chosen by the unconscious...I let come out whatever comes out... I am not painting to sell nor to impress..I am painting to reveal something new, that's all.
